Hybrid Asynchronous

Haumiller Engineering leads in integrating continuous and intermittent motion technologies within complex manufacturing lines, enhancing automation with custom solutions and state-of-the-art motion control technology for seamless, high-speed assembly processes.

When it comes to complex manufacturing line configurations, Haumiller Engineering is the leader in assembly automation, including continuous motion assembly and high speed assembly. At Haumiller Engineering, we not only build a wide range of assembly machines, but we excel in integrating them into customized solutions. Our expertise shines in environments where modern products require both continuous motion assembly machines and intermittent motion equipment within the same manufacturing line, a necessity especially prevalent where extensive online product testing is vital.

Over the years, Haumiller has pioneered many hybrid systems, skillfully combining continuous motion with indexing motion, inline with rotary motion, and vertical axis with horizontal axis, as well as single with multi-up, covering every conceivable combination. Our state-of-the-art motion control technology facilitates the seamless integration of continuous motion and indexing motion on adjacent dials without the need for pucks, conveyors, or trackage in between. Our revolutionary linear motor technology enhances our high speed continuous motion capabilities, enabling us to manipulate pucks at varied speeds on the same track, thus allowing for their separation and grouping at different positions along the track.

How Can Hybrid Asynchronous Motion Benefit Your Automation Process?

Hybrid Asynchronous motion, a hallmark of our custom automation and engineering prowess, merges continuous motion and intermittent motion on adjacent dials seamlessly. This integration is achieved without the use of pucks, conveyors, or trackage, showcasing our innovative approach. The linear motor technology empowers us to maneuver pucks at diverse speeds on the same track, facilitating their separation and grouping at various locations along the path, thus optimizing your assembly automation process with high speed assembly and precision.

Our Testing Process Simplified

Our testing team isn't trying to make the machine work, it's trying to make the machine fail. We assess the durability of every machine to ensure your machine will last with any operator under any condition.

Phase 1

A series of short tests of every separate function of the machine to find obvious errors while running only the specific parts, and is completed when each function of the machine has run approximately 10 seconds.

Phase 2

Phase 2 is a series of tests, operating the machine as a whole interactive system. It is completed when the machine has run approximately 5 consecutive minutes with every function working.

Phase 3

A test of each specified set of parts, with every function working and the machine operating as a complete, interactive system. This phase is considered complete when the machine has run satisfactorily for 30 consecutive minutes unless a different time frame is specified.
