A global personal care manufacturer needed to consolidate multiple older pump assembly lines into a single high-capacity system. The new line had to match the combined output of the legacy equipment while improving quality and reducing maintenance burden.
Haumiller designed a continuous motion pump assembly line that consolidated the client's production onto a single, highly reliable platform. The system was engineered for 24/7 operation with minimal planned downtime.
Key features included:
Continuous motion assembly for maximum throughput. Multi-component pump mechanism assembly including spring, piston, and actuator. Dip tube cutting and insertion with length verification. Collar threading and torque verification. Integrated function testing—every pump is actuated before release. Designed for 24/7 operation with scheduled maintenance windows.
The consolidated line exceeded the combined capacity of the equipment it replaced while requiring less floor space and fewer operators. The reliability improvements have virtually eliminated unplanned downtime.
