A major beverage packaging supplier needed to expand their closure production capacity to meet growing demand from sports drink and bottled water brands. The solution had to meet strict food-safety requirements while delivering the throughput needed to supply multiple major beverage companies.
Haumiller designed a food-safe continuous motion assembly line specifically for beverage closure production. Every component was selected and engineered to meet FDA food-contact requirements while maximizing speed and reliability.
Key features included:
FDA-compliant food-contact surfaces throughout. Continuous motion assembly for sports caps with flip-top mechanisms. Integrated liner insertion and sealing. Vision-based inspection for seal integrity. Quick-changeover tooling for multiple closure sizes. Washdown-compatible design for sanitation protocols.
The new line gave our client the capacity to secure major new contracts while maintaining the quality standards their beverage customers require. The system's reliability has made it a cornerstone of their production operation.
