Hybrid Asynchronous

Haumiller Engineering leads in integrating continuous and intermittent motion technologies within complex manufacturing lines, enhancing automation with custom solutions and state-of-the-art motion control technology for seamless, high-speed assembly processes.

Hybrid Asynchronous Motion in Assembly Automation

Haumiller Engineering is a leader in assembly automation, specializing in continuous motion and high-speed assembly. We not only build a wide range of assembly machines but excel in integrating them into customized solutions that enhance efficiency and precision.

Many modern products require both continuous motion assembly machines and intermittent motion equipment within the same manufacturing line—especially when extensive online product testing is involved. Haumiller’s expertise ensures seamless integration, creating optimized, high-performance automation systems tailored to complex manufacturing needs.

Innovative Hybrid System Integration

Haumiller has pioneered hybrid automation systems, skillfully combining:

  • Continuous motion with indexing motion.
  • Inline motion with rotary motion.
  • Vertical axis with horizontal axis.
  • Single-up with multi-up assembly.

Our advanced motion control technology allows for the integration of continuous and intermittent motion on adjacent dials without requiring pucks, conveyors, or trackage between them. This innovation increases speed, efficiency, and precision across the manufacturing line.

How Hybrid Asynchronous Motion Optimizes Your Automation Process

Hybrid Asynchronous motion merges continuous and intermittent motion seamlessly, eliminating the need for additional handling equipment.

Key benefits include:

  • Increased speed and efficiency through precise motion synchronization.
  • Optimized puck manipulation with varied speeds on the same track.
  • Enhanced grouping and separation of components at different locations along the track.
  • Seamless integration of multiple automation processes for greater flexibility.

Our linear motor technology takes this to the next level, enabling precise control over pucks at different speeds, allowing for improved assembly automation, product handling, and testing in high-speed environments.

Our Testing Process Simplified

Our testing team isn't trying to make the machine work, it's trying to make the machine fail. We assess the durability of every machine to ensure your machine will last with any operator under any condition.

Phase 1

A series of short tests of every separate function of the machine to find obvious errors while running only the specific parts, and is completed when each function of the machine has run approximately 10 seconds.

Phase 2

Phase 2 is a series of tests, operating the machine as a whole interactive system. It is completed when the machine has run approximately 5 consecutive minutes with every function working.

Phase 3

A test of each specified set of parts, with every function working and the machine operating as a complete, interactive system. This phase is considered complete when the machine has run satisfactorily for 30 consecutive minutes unless a different time frame is specified.
